PDFs and images can embed metadata: author, creation date, GPS coordinates, and camera model.

Sharing files publicly can expose more than you intend.
Mitigation
- Use an EXIF viewer to inspect data.
- Remove metadata before publishing when needed.
Tools
EXIF Viewer shows the data embedded in images and saves a clean copy without it. Re-encoding an image with Compress Image also strips EXIF.
